5 Factors to Consider When Choosing a Dentist
If you’re looking for the best dentist in Essendon or surrounding suburbs, here are 5 reasons why you should choose Coburg Dental Group.
1. Do they have office hours that fit your schedule?
Coburg Dental Group is open 7days a week and is only closed on public holidays. We are open from 8.00 am for those people who like to have an appointment before work or school and open until 8.00pm on Tuesdays if that’s more convenient for you. We are also open on the week-end. So, is there an excuse for not having the time to come to the dentist?
2. Is the office close to your home or work?
Coburg Dental Group is located in the heart of Melbourne’s northern suburbs. With plenty of street parking, bike paths and excellent public transport (See below), the clinic is easily accessed.
3. How do they handle after hours emergencies?
Coburg Dental Group is open 7 days a week and late night also. You can make an appointment on-line 24/7 and you can chat with our web-chat consultant at any time via our website at https://www.coburgdentalgroup.com.au and just click on the pop-up box. One of our staff will then contact you as soon as possible to arrange for you to be seen in a timely manner.
4. Do they take dental insurance and have a payment plan option?
We take the hassle out of claiming from your private health insurance by claiming for you via our HICAPS system. All you need to do is pay the co-payment. We can also arrange a payment plan for you (subject to meeting eligibility criteria) like you can have from major retailers. This means that your dental treatment can be affordable and manageable.
We can also co-ordinate treatment with Worksafe(Workcover), Victims of Crime Compensation, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
5. Do they offer comprehensive care?
At Coburg Dental Group we offer all aspects of dental treatment including preventative care including dental hygiene, children’s dentistry, smile enhancement (the dental board won’t let us call it cosmetic dentistry), tooth whitening, crowns including one-visit crowns, bridges, veneers, orthodontics, periodontics (treatment of gum issues) dental implants, dentures, white fillings, treatment of TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnoea (referral required), treatment of lip and tongue tie, treatment for bad breath (halitosis), laser dentistry, wisdom tooth removal and extraction of teeth, root canal treatment, oral surgery, digital x-rays, and telehealth consultations.
